Mental Health Counselor: LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT

The ideal candidate is collaborative, nonjudgmental, culturally sensitive, empathic, and self-aware. The ideal candidate is open to feedback designed to gauge treatment effectiveness and will be willing to adjust treatment, based on that input.

The Restoration Wellness Institute Counselor is expected to perform all aspects of patient care related to mental health including:

  • Delivery of high quality, compassionate, nonjudgmental, culturally sensitive mental health treatment
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
  • Administer diagnostic questionnaires
  • Develop and manage Treatment Plans, creating measurable, achievable goals and objectives
  • Collection of patient feedback at all points during the therapeutic process.
  • Utilization of feedback to design treatment adjustments
  • Continuous involvement in the development of innovative, effective practices
  • Coordination of care with external disciplines and community resources
  • Communication with third parties and collateral contacts when appropriate



Master’s degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Social Work

Minimum two years Mental Health/Addiction counseling, with license in good standing

PA Child Abuse Clearance

Therapist Essential Qualities:

· Excellent self-awareness

· Attentive to self-care needs

· Willingness to learn from patient feedback and adjust accordingly

· Willingness to self-disclose within ethical boundaries to strengthen the therapeutic relationship

· Creative, innovative, independent but team player, outside-the-box thinker
