Vaccine Team Available to Assist at Facilities Across the Country

When the news that safe, effective vaccines were approved to help alleviate the medical and humanitarian crises caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, people around the world were overjoyed.  However, few expected the difficulties and challenges that would arise while trying to administer these vaccines to our citizens.

UltraCare saw the challenge and developed a solution — the Vaccine Team.  Using a Central Command Center model of operations, led by a cadre of talented professionals, including one with years of experience deploying local government assets to areas of need, the Vaccine Team began working with a national pharmacy chain to handle vaccinations efforts for senior citizens in homes and facilities across fifteen states.  This effort grew to include a nationwide workforce of pharmacists, LPN’s, RN’s and APN’s who were assembled and deployed throughout the southern and midwestern United States.

To date, UltraCare Vaccine Teams have administered life-saving vaccines to approximately 100-thousand of our most vulnerable citizens and that number continues to climb.  As the national vaccination effort changes and matures, we expect more facilities and organizations to lean on UltraCare to help in this international humanitarian effort.
